The New Year has started strongly with a LOT of temporary site services inquiries and opportunities across all regions, resulting in a busy period of tendering at our Essex and Midlands offices.
This time of year is historically "accreditation season" and 2019 is no different having already been successfully reassessed for FORS and Achilles. In addition, Multitech Site Services has also achieved Cyber Essentials Certification demonstration that I.T. Policies and Procedures meet standard required by government for protecting documents and information in respect of infrastructure and capital projects.
Contributing to National Infrastructure
Multitech Site Services is an appointed temporary site services provider for the the high-profile HS2 (South) where a lot work is being carried out. Having successfully fulfilled the stringent criteria and vigorous pre-qualification process Multitech is now able to again contribute to national infrastructure through this significant project. Attributing to our success is our exemplary safety record, social values, policy of directly employing all personnel, charitable and community support and a proven track record of over 20 years project delivery.
At time of writing, the UK was experiencing freezing conditions, weather warnings, ice and snow. Thankfully, the yearly re-issue of branded PPE and work wear took place at the Multitech Annual Conference on 2nd January so our site guys have protection against the cold whilst they continue to deliver temporary site services installations, management and maintenance.
Annual Conference...and thank you Steve
The Multitech conference was a huge success thanks in no small part to guest speaker Mark Rhodes who guided the delegates through a structured programme of customer services mindsets and approaches. The outcomes of the practical exercises have already proved to be a beneficial influence on the systems and processes used within the business.
In attendance, for his last time, was electrician and electrical tester Steve Tilley who this year will be retiring.
Steve has been with Multitech for many years and very much involved in the early days of the Multitech Midlands office where he has been based. An extremely competent, first-class electrician we send sincere thanks to Steve and wish him all the very best for his retirement.
To you, dear reader, we wish you a happy, healthy and successful 2019. Until the next time...
