Plumber

Overview

As part of the regional team, consisting of mainly electrical personnel, you will be the lead plumber supporting our onsite operations by coordinating and carrying out a variety of plumbing installation work.

You will be responsible for providing temporary plumbing installations in a large construction environment, as directed by the regional engineer.

Part of your role will be to attend our dedicated workshop for preassembly of pumps, break tanks and equipment, including operational tests, prior to site installation.

You will be responsible for isolating water and gas services on client sites prior to demolition or other construction activities.

Responsible For
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the role
  • Daily communication with the regional engineer.
  • Carry out temporary services plumbing installation work comprising of water, soil and waste systems.
  • Service isolations – gas and water – and completing isolation certificates.
  • Carry out onsite paperwork to record activity.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Carry out the plumbing fit out of your client’s welfare and office facilities on site. Installation of electric water heating systems.

Additional Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating
  • JIB/CSCS card
  • Site Experience
  • Experience in the Construction Industry
