When writing last month’s news, apprehension, anticipation and for some, expectation seemed commonplace on the eve of the UK General Election and we had noticed a sense of putting the brakes on in the construction industry. Whether it was the result of the election, the sun making more regular appearances or perhaps a combination of the two, since 8th May new temporary site services enquiries have been in abundance for Multitech with exciting projects keeping our estimating team very busy.
As previously published, Multitech secured additional premises in Great Dunmow for which refurbishment plans are nearly finalised. Once complete the appearance of the building will be brand consistent and will provide us with a much larger, dedicated servicing area, increased warehouse space and additional offices to accommodate our growing workforce.
A very warm welcome to new recruits who have joined us in office and site positions. 2015 is shaping up to be another record year for Multitech therefore we are continuing our recruitment campaign.
We are particularly looking for Administrators in our Accounts and Operations Departments and have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Apprentice. We also have vacancies in the Midlands - more about our Midlands Operation below.
If you would like to apply or know someone who would be suitable, please direct them to our Careers Page where details of current vacancies can be found. Alternatively CVs can be sent to email@example.com
Regional Manager Dale Titmus and his team have worked tirelessly to successfully develop business in the Midlands further to which we have expanded into additional premises, doubling the size of our Wellingborough operation. A big thank you to the Midlands team for all their hard work and dedication. Our growth in the Midlands means we are recruiting for a variety of roles to fulfil the ever increasing enquiries. Please visit our Careers Page for details.
May has been a month of accreditation audits for BSI1401, RISQS/Achilles Link-up and NICEIC all of which have been successfully completed. Our accreditations are an important assurance to clients of our professionalism and commitment to maintaining the highest standards possible for temporary electrics and temporary site services. No one enjoys an Audit (except perhaps Auditors?) but the results are worthwhile and beneficial for all concerned.
This month Multitech supported participants in the London Moonwalk (in aid of Breast Cancer Research) and the Farleigh Hospice Walk for Life. Congratulations to everyone who completed the walks and for raising such significant amounts of money.
Wholemeal, White, Tuna & Cheese...
10th-16th May was National Sandwich Week (we’re not making it up: www.sandwich.org.uk) To acknowledge the National Celebration and as an opportunity to thank staff we approached local Dorringtons Bakery in Dunmow who supplied a variety of fresh sandwiches for a special ‘Sandwich Week Lunch’.
As the industry’s holiday period once again approaches and our thoughts and support go out to relations preparing for exams, from everyone at Multitech we would like to wish you a very happy and successful June.
